If you're still looking, I'm selling my Bluemoon leisure "Laser" cue cost new is £129. It's 2 years old, has 20 hand splices (apparently ) and an 8mm tip ( google bluemoonleisure for more info ). I'm looking to get around £60 for it.

Moranadona writes Team Lizard in assosciation with Rileys and Pockets will be hosting a one day £60 amateur event on Sat 14th of June 2008
This comp will be limited to 32 players only and for people currently on the amateur lists It will be on the same format as other events with best of 19 frames and will be played between the two venues using 10 tables .
Prize breakdown will be as follows :
Wnr £500 GUARANTEED!
Rnr up£300
Semis £200
Qtrs £100
Their will be a plate comp for 1st round losers with £320 up for grabs! please contact myself via this site or brian sullivan of rileys newport ,more details to follow shortly thanks

There will be a tournament in Kiss Shot pool hall Pontypridd on Wednesday the 14th of May.
It will be 10 pound to enter with a GUARANTEED 300 pound for the winner, it will be a best of 9 frame format until the final which will be best of 13. Lag will be for the first frame only and then break every other.
All players wishing to enter will have to be there by 7.15pm for a prompt start at 7.30pm.
Players will not be entered before this date unless their entry money has been paid in full.
Hot and cold food will be available throughout the day, you can have curry, rice and a pint or even a 4 pint pitcher, all at reasonable prices.

Rhino writes The first event of the season gets underway at Potters bar, Cardiff, on Saturday 7th June 2008. The draw will take place on the day and we are looking to field 16 players for the first event.
The PFW are looking to increase junior members over the next year to help encourage the growth of the junior national team. As world rules are not the dominant set of rules played in Wales, we do struggle to attract good quality players and with players moving up in age classification we need to attract players early.

The first event of the season got underway at Potters bar, Cardiff, last weekend, and as usual there were plenty of surprise results. So we start with results from the last 16 stage:
Last 16
The round started with Wayne Smith against Anthony Doble. Wayne took an early lead at 5 – 2 but Anthony fought back well to take the match 7 – 6. Jon Bushnell looked in good form against Marc Evans, Jon edging the match 7 – 5. Tom Cousins had a shock against Mandy Palmer but with the scores level at 6 – 6, Tom cleared for a 7 – 6 victory. Russell Burgess was playing well against Josh Craze and won by a comfortable score of 7 – 2.
Ryan John won a close game against Kevin Barry by 7 – 4. Ben Davies looked in great shape against Gareth Manning and won the match 7 – 2. JJ Faul form South Africa was making his first appearance in the Welsh Grand Prix and went through easily against Keiran Madden 7 – 0. The last match of the round saw Andy Macdonald have a convincing win over Kristian Phillips 7 – 1.
